Garden Gates at…

Garden Gates at Heritage Museums and Gardens

Have you been to Heritage Museum and Gardens lately?  There is a wonderful new addition to the gardens – an exhibit of beautiful and clever garden gates by regional artists.  The gate in the picture was made by Elisa Sullivan from Titcomb’s Bookshop!  Elisa and Grace Archambeault collaborated to create a gate that represents their love and appreciation of nature.  The concept of the gate is based on a piece of jewelry Elisa created featuring the tree of life and the quote “and the tree was happy” for her Swirls Jewelry line.  The quote comes from Shel Silverstein’s book, The Giving Tree.

We hope you will take some time to stroll the museum grounds and find all the gates (especially the one by Elisa and Grace!).  Many of the gates are for sale, by the way, so here’s a chance to own a museum piece for your home!Image
