Toy Fair

Edye and Vicky spent three fun filled, hardworking days at the International Toy Fair in New York City. The fair fills the enormous Javits Center with hundreds and hundreds of toy companies showing off their new products for 2011. We were looking, of course, for the best of the best.
Our goal: to find creative, well made, classic and fun toys for all ages, including toys made in the United States and toys to encourage kids to get outside and get active. We found some really great new lines and will be announcing them in upcoming newsletters, including this one. We’re very excited about what we discovered!
The LEGO booth is always a highlight. The booth is completely closed to all but those with appointments. We arrived at our appointed time and were greeted by a life sized model from Pirates of the Caribbean! Then, we were escorted behind closed doors to see all of next year’s newest models.

We look forward to our week on the Cape every year with multiple stops at Titcomb’s. Please send us a list of the summer events for kids. We are hoping to catch a child author this year, as we have always missed this. We will be looking forward to checking out your new Lego section with our three boys.
